Timelines and milestones

2011

Enrich was established by Mr. Ededeya Assefa and Mrs. Fikir Dennekew as a private limited company.

2012

The company rented a facility and started to manufacture and distribute snacks.

2013

First phase of the factory construction was completed and the company started manufacturing of Breakfast cereals and Snacks in its own production facility.

2015

The company launched Teff based Breakfast Cereals namely Teff Crunch and Teff Rings. Participated in its first international exhibition in Khartoum, Sudan. The first wholesale distribution shop was opened in Merkato, the biggest marketplace in Africa.

2016

Commenced participating at Gulfood exhibition in Dubai, UAE.

2017

The company started exporting its products with its first export transaction to the Djibouti market.

2018

Enrich opened its first branded bakery shop in Addis Ababa.

2019

First phase of Factory expansion was completed and Enrich commenced production of Baby Food (infant cereals) under the brand name “Mama’s Choice”.

2020

Enrich installed a new line and expanded the range of its breakfast cereals by launching Teff Flakes, Corn Flakes, Honey Flakes Flakes and Choco Flakes.

2021

The company installed its Tomato Ketchup production Plant and commenced manufacturing ketchup under the brand name “ SAVA Tomato Ketchup”
